Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butter

.

Who loves peanut butter? We recently had the opportunity to try a whole pile of Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butter. Pic was inspired to make his own peanut butter because he could see where peanut butter manufacturers were heading. He was sure that one day they would be loading our peanut butters with sugar. He found himself proven right and then went onto create his own Pic’s Really Good Peanut Butters. See what our reviewers thought of his creation:

As a kid, id eat weetbix with peanutbutter on top. My kids eat PB on toast, sandwiches snd crackers. As a child i would also just eat PB straight from the jar.

I think it’s safe to say I’m a peanut-a-holic. I eat it straight from the jar, savouring every teaspoon full. I slather it on wraps and heat it slightly in the microwave. I’ll eat it with cheese. Apples. Chips. I’d say I have a problem – but really, you just can’t love peanut butter too much!

Love natural peanut butter, that is the stuff that is made in New Zealand without all the additives. Consumed ETA and sanitarium for years as we didn’t know any better. Sick of seeing jars on the shelf made not in New Zealand, we bit the bullet and bought some home made (NZ) no additive, sugars or salt peanut butter. what a huge difference. I am sure this is how peanut butter used to be made and tasted before additives were invented. Great for Paleo dieters and I Quit Sugar followers. My family adore my peanut butter biscuits with some extra home roasted peanuts crushed added. I also cringe at all those jars of instant sauces on the supermarket shelves like satay chicken tonight full of thockeners and colours. I make sataynsauce from scratch using natural crunchy peanut butter. Also marinate chicken satay with peanut butter and some asian ingredients. Home made peanut butter ice cream also good as well as the good old peanut butter and home made berry jam. Will never go back to eating ETA or Sanitarium.
