Summer Holidays

The Summer holidays started off with a bang back in December with our eldest son finishing school for good.  We were super proud of our kids all receiving awards at prize giving this year, and it was an awesome way to end the last time all our 4 children would be at school together.
After Christmas was over, we’ve been making sure we have plenty of time to relax these holidays and a strict ‘no renovations during the holidays’ rule.
We’ve had lovely moments catching up with family and friends and going on adventures which included…
Our annual pippi gathering adventure with Nana & Poppa (which may or may not have included me piggybacking my husband across a stream)…

A trip to Auckland which included a ferry ride from Devonport to the city centre..
A beautiful wedding…
Catching up with one of my beautiful besties from way back…
and the most amazing time at Adventure Forest…
We’ve been eating & drinking delicious goodies…
I’ve been admiring the beautiful sunsets each night…
Somehow Symon always finds a way to be creative, this time making a beautiful wooden chessboard from a slab of wood cut from a tree at our previous house.
We’ve still got a few more days of our holiday left before Symon and I head back to work, so let the relaxing and adventures continue!
