Vote for Catching the Magic!

.

British expat Mum, Sarah, has been living in Wellington, New Zealand, with her British born husband, since 1997.

She started blogging way back in 2003, when her first child was born in New Zealand, as a way to keep her family in the UK up to date with their lives.

She is now mother of three Kiwi born girls and, though she occasionally pines for her home-land and extended family, she acknowledges that the happiness of her children is now number one priority and feels very fortunate to call New Zealand home.

Sarah’s blog, ‘Catching the Magic’, journals motherhood in Wellington in a lyrical, romantic style, richly illustrated with photographs. She tries to see the positive in each day and by focusing on the ‘magic’ she doesn’t feel quite so overwhelmed with the relentlessness that can evolve in parenting young children full-time! She writes of motherhood, travel experiences with her family, activities and entertainment in Wellington, occasional baking, attempted gardening and art antics with her children. She also dabbles in poetry and creative writing from time to time (there has to be more to life than dirty laundry, peace keeping, sleep deprivation and nappy changes!).

Sarah is delighted to be listed in the Circle of Moms’ network’s list of Top 25 Expat Mom blogs.

The Circle of Moms’ network is a large influential network of over 8 million users and has a strong social media presence and active Facebook community.
