Crunchy, healthy coconut butter bites
I thought up this recipe last night in bed and wondered if it would work and be delicious…It is :) It is 3 ingredients and uses the clean Paleo natural breakfast blends and the Poppy and olive coconut butter and a poppy and olive nut butter (I used the Vanilla bean cashew and coconut but you could use any of their nut butters. DIY orange oil cleaner
I wrote the blog ‘natural items for your emergency kit’ a while ago and it had among other items baking soda, vinegar and orange oil.Orange oil has amazing antibacterial and antiseptic uses, vinegar is a natural cleaner, and baking soda is a fantastic deodorizer and multipurpose disinfectant!I use this around the house on a daily basis so I thought it deserved its own blog :) I love it, it makes the house clean but most of all smell amazing. I LOVE orange oil and I get mine from ‘Pure Nature’.

Eucalyptus – Tea Tree Cleaning Spray
There are a lot of recipes that use a mix of vinegar and water to make a household cleaning spray. It can be quite effective, but this simple spray cleaner takes it a step further by adding the combined the antibacterial, antiseptic and antiviral properties of tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils.
Eucalyptus – Tea Tree Cleaning Spray
To make this you will need:
- ¾ cup each of vinegar, vodka and water (see note below)
- 25 drops Tea Tree essential oil
- 25 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
- Spray bottle – (something similar to the one found here)
Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle. Shake well before using.
To use spray on kitchen or bathroom surfaces like sinks, showers or bench tops, then wipe with a clean cloth.
Stored in a cool place, out of direct sunlight the spray will keep for at least 12 months.
Note: if you prefer not to use vodka leave it out. Instead increase the quantity of water to 1½ cups .
