Singing in the Rain

.

Anna and I were lucky enough to be invited to the opening of the Wellington performance of Singing in the Rain. It was soo much fun and I loved how upbeat the whole show was. I loved the dancing; there was heaps of tap and some fantastic singing.

What a performance, just fantastic. The producers of this musical also produced Jersey Boys, The Sound of Music and Annie. Set in 1927, it tells the story of the first Hollywood musical, when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies – and some of its stars – behind. A musical for adults rather than children, but what a treat to go out at night to such a fabulous production.

Singing in the Rain

You simply must get along to Singing in the Rain while it is in New Zealand. It runs till 26 April in Wellington. From Friday 1 May it will be showing at the Civic in Auckland.

We most definitely recommend it!

Michelle
