What’s your blog all about?
Honest, open commentary about life, its triumphs and those annoying things that don’t quite turn out like you hoped (my crafting catastrophes)

Why did you start blogging?
I had/have a fundraising type project that I wanted to share with friends and families…I contacted someone else, who posted my project on their blog and it just took off (to Hawaii in fact) and I realised that this was a great medium to share my project. Once I started blogging, it’s become quite addictive. I love to write and there is something special about documenting parts of your life.

What is your favourite part about blogging?

What can I say without sounding cliche? It’s fun. It’s creative, I get to write, share events, meet people (that sounds wierd but cyber space can be very friendly and supportive, especially for new bloggers). I like looking at my life in a new way – when something happens or we make/do something, a small part of my brain goes: ‘ouh, we could blog about that. where’s the camera?’

How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
I’m not sure that I do – it’s squeezed in between working and other stuff – usually I should be doing something else!

Any advice to new/other bloggers?
Just jump in and do it – check out what others are doing, and have fun.
