What’s your blog all about?
About me: I am a Craft-a-holic and a SAHM who used to be an ECE Teacher. I was working part time up until May when my husband, Jason, was killed at work, so this year has been a life changing, emotional, chaotic blur. Almost 7mths later life is slowly getting into some sort of regular routine and I am immersing myself in my crafts to try deal with the pain of losing my soul mate.
About my blog: It started out just about my love of scrapbooking but has become all about life in general. It heavily focuses on crafts but has also become the story of my journey without Jason and how our little family of 3 is now coping and getting by without him.
Why did you start blogging?
To share my crafts with other crafters, and also to share with out family overseas.
What is your favourite part about blogging?
The comments I get, knowing that what I do can inspire others and that I can share things with people I ordinarily wouldn’t get a chance to meet.
How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
I blog in my down time, after the kids are in bed, or when they are otherwise occupied (as I write this email we are enjoying a movie & Morning tea!)
Any advice to new/other bloggers?
Be yourself, don’t try to write what other people want write what you want because out there there will be more people than you realise who want to hear what YOU have to say.
