What’s your blog all about?
I’m a expat kiwi from the Bay of Plenty/Southland living in Saudi Arabia. My blog is basically a journal of our life. Living in Saudi Arabia is an experience so I like to documentc snippets of real life here. Media is heavily controlled but so far I havent annoyed the powers at be!
Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging in 2007 in a locked blog to share the kids life with their extended family. I would like to turn that blog which is 2 years old into a book for the children.
What is your favourite part about blogging?
Looking back at what the children were doing, virtually meeting expats kiwis is a real bonus! I also like reading other blogs, there is some super talented people out there.
How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
I struggle sometimes, I have the mornings to myself but I like to sew or read or shop also. The afternoons are the kids and evenings are my time with Mr MM and my laptop’s keyboard is broken so typing is a drag.
Any advice to new/other bloggers?
Do it! Its good fun and the blogging communtiy is very friendly and resourceful.
