No. of Kids: 2 gorgeous kids…Bubble aged 4.5 (going on 16!!) and Rangi 2yrs 4 months
Current City: Auckland is our new home city. We moved here in August 2010, and are feeling quite at home. The move has been made easier thanks to some awesome bloggers who have taken the time to meet up and I am so happy I can now call them real life actual friends!!

What’s your blog all about?
36 year old wife of an amazing Kiwi Bloke (who treats me like a princess). Mum to two gorgeous children who continue to amaze and challenge me! Have recently moved to Auckland and are slowly adjusting to our new city. Motherhood has been a tough journey for me. PND has taken up a lot of my energy. I had lovely ooey gooey plans to be the perfect Mum and wife but once these two little ones arrived those plans quickly changed. At times I have savoured every moment, at others it has been a battle just to get through the day. But my blog doesn’t really focus on PND, except to say it is a part of it. Mainly I just like to share little snippets of our day, things that make me laugh, or frustrate me. Random thoughts, plans and dreams. Cute photos…and not so cute photos. Family life/real life. Wish I was a crafty blogger though…

Why did you start blogging?
Encouraged by the amazing Widge after finding out she was a blogger. Kind of got intrigued with the whole blog thing and being a stay at home Mum I could see the benefits of being able to reach out to a world beyond hanging out washing and changing nappies. Also, now that we have moved is good to share with friends back home.

What is your favourite part about blogging?
I use it to celebrate, share, whinge and offload about the joys and struggles of our daily life. It is my journal and my kids “baby” book – I was so crap at keeping actual baby books for my two (still have guilt about how bad I was, didn’t even bother with Rangi, and Bubble has a very incomplete one). So at least here I have written and captured some cool memories to share with the kids as they get older (possibly not all of them though).

How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
For me it is something I do when I feel like it. Sometimes when the kids are in bed, or when they are busy entertaining themselves. I usually catch up on my fav blogs in the morning over my coffee and toast.

Any advice to new/other bloggers?
Just write what you feel comfortable with, and enjoy!

Top 3 favourite blogs?
All these women I have met and can call friends. I can relate to them. They are all talented writers that know how to get a giggle, a tear or a nod in agreement. I get super happy when I see they have a new post I can savour!!
