What’s your blog all about?
I’m 21 and a first time mum. Love sewing, lego and rolling around on the floor with my son. My blog contains the ramblings of a mum who puts making her son laugh before worrying about the dishes. Life is too short to care about trivial things.
Why did you start blogging?
I can barely remember if I have eaten breakfast most days, and I wanted concrete proof that I was right. Also I had some free time and thought why not?
What is your favourite part about blogging?
Seeing peoples comments and knowing that you have reached someone, even if your post was about a cool pair of pants you just made.
How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
I blog while my son is sleeping, during sewing breaks and when my man is playing soccer or watching soccer on tv.
Any advice to new/other bloggers?
Tell your story. If you have something to say, then say it. If it resonates with even one person it’s worth it.
Top 3 favourite posts from your blog?
Pain, Pride, PND – always makes me tear up when I realise how far I have come and much much worse it could have been. Makes me treasure every giggle all the more.
Mum, Love, Mess – so simple, but a concise snippet of daily life when I’m sick.
Laughter, The Best Medicine – I honestly believe that the more people laugh, the happier and healthier they are. A laugh can cure any bad feeling.
