What’s your blog all about?
Lots of crafty related topics, with a dash of life in the fast lane. Even though we live rural NZ, the combination of kids, running a business and trying to make a move north and build, plus hospital appointments in Auckland – life can be quite hectic.
Why did you start blogging?
I thought I had alot to share, from sewing, right through to everyday life. My partner and I have had alot of ups and downs in the past years, and I’m sure there is many more rollercoaster rides to come. So I thought writing about this may help myself plus others in many ways, plus what a great way to document our life!
What is your favourite part about blogging?
Well I have only just started so, at the moment I would have to say, showing my handi work and being part of the wider blogging community. Oh and I love the way it has encouraged me to take photos, and document even the most simplest of moments.
How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
I take photos whenever I can, and then I do most of my posting at night when my kids are all tucked in.
Any advice to new/other bloggers?
If your’e thinking about starting one, go for it – even if you think you may have nothing to say, you may surprise yourself. As for other bloggers join in on challenges with the wider blogging community, it a great way to get traffic to your site and make new friends.
