What’s your blog all about?
Confessions of a Missionary Mama is the best way to describe my blog. Read about YWAM travels as a family, living on total dependency on God for financial support(this is a trip alone, let me tell ya!) and figuring out how to truly find my place in this amazing new journey.

Why did you start blogging?
Honestly, the reason I started blogging was because I was terrified of my friends forgetting about me when I left to follow the call God put on my families life to go into full time missions work. I remember how silly it felt at first when I started to Blog. I am a recovering ‘Me-o-holic’, so talking and rambling on about my peeps and our lives seamed not so humble. Then as the days drew near to our departure it was the only way to cope, well besides getting a tatoo on my wrist reading ‘The Lords’. In case I forgot or something!. lol. My advice, don’t acquire a tattoo a few days before a huge life change! I did it to keep sane during a huge transition from being a suburban, comfortable, wife and mama to a mama in ministry fully relying on God for my daily provisions.

What is your favourite part about blogging?
Being a 100% extravert, I love interacting with the world! Especially those I have yet to meet. I love share about what God is doing in the lives of the people I know and around me in the day to day world.

How do you manage juggling family life with blogging?
You mean, family life…homeschooling, photography, ministry and the need to be over involved in all things! I usually blog after the fam is in bed, and fast asleep. Or on break from homeschooling and I catch a few moments of rest.

Any advice to new/other bloggers?
Don’t be afraid to be real, transparent and even shallow at times! Sometimes I don’t feel so spiritual or good for that matter. My blog should reflect that, and the struggles of motherhood and living in this broken world. So should yours. My fav blogs are those that tell about the things women have overcome or the messes they are in. And post pictures with most posts. Learn to take good photos too, need help just ask!
